HORN PLEASE...!!

It’s almost two weeks now since the horn of my car has stopped working. ”It isn't a reason to drive 15 km to GM’s Service Station and engage the vehicle for a whole day” I thought…but d decision seems to be going the other way round since the very beginning

At times I have followed the one of its kind “Nagpur’s Auto Rickshaws”. They are the slowest moving vehicle you’ll find on planet earth…” It’s really miraculous to notice how these things even manage to move on road…rather...crawl…!! It’s the amazement similar to what people felt for "NANO" “Ek lac mai Car”!! …their eyebrows literally jumping over hair line…!! So i am talking about this extreme feeling…I hope now you can imagine the engineering and amount of juggad to operate these machines…!! You have to literally roll your head on one side to spot them straight…every visible inch of vehicle will have impressions of dent and scratches…and almost everything including the tail lamp, number plate…the head light…indicators…everything…would just barely be held on its place by knot of a string. It’s a living miracle to see how these things are standing or in fact are smoking & rolling.
So I have followed these creatures endlessly at times…hoping to get side…with speed going well below 10 km/hr…at times I get too frightened to drive…for being over taken by a cyclist…or even worse…by a cow !!
There is one more specialty of people in my city…everyone thinks that the road is either made especially for them or they have the first right to use them…let it be the hawkers…the pedestrian…the cyclist…or for the matter of fact the cows and don’t forget the dogs…!! And to sail through this entire ocean, the most important accessory that one should excessively use while driving is…HORN…!! That’s why everyone in city seems to honk on every existing identity on road…while at times also using some sweet little words to mark their supremacy while moving ahead..!! One would feel strange…but you can even notice people honking on deserted roads…!!
But to my precincts…I don’t have the luxury to make my way ahead…rather by and large it’s just a slow creep behind the leisurely moving vehicles...which I have now started enjoying. In fact my tolerance has amplified to supreme level…!! And i have also got into this habit of reading phrases on vehicles...which usually says…”buri nazar wale tera muh kala” “chalti ka naam gadi”…”fir milenge” and likes…but I lose everything and get most cranky when it says…HORN PLEASE…that too with an OK TATA beside it…!! :)

Diversity in Unity

Riding with a good speed in a burning afternoon…approached a traffic signal…saw people rushing to get over before it turned red…following the flow…accelerated the bike to full throttle…but all went in drain…saw the light turned orange and then red…riders in front hurried for limited shade under road side trees…! Suddenly noticing a huge shadow in middle of the road…good 20 meters before the signal…I applied brakes with all muscle and bike stopped with a screech…!!! I felt the growling sound and the burning sensation of my bike…rather its feelings for me…which I guess were not good at that time…but by what means I could have made him understand that it was all for the bloody shade…and that he wud also enjoy good 70 odd seconds hiding from the scorching sun beams…which had only one intention…to turn every human being….tan…!!

Finally I looked up to see the source of this peaceful shade…saw a huge banner which looked like a flag of a social communal group….it was really big…big enough to give shade to 10 fellow riders…who spotted the same and joined in….relaxing the coolness of shadow… no body bothered to look at it and thankfully nobody tried to take the credit either…it would have been really funny to hear…”get out form here….it belong to people from our community only..!!!”

I looked around only to notice endless small banners, flags, posters everywhere…hanging from trees, buildings…rather from every possible structure which could support their string …though they too offered shade but in contrast were very small to attract anyone’s attention to get underneath…

Recalling the night we won the world cup…everyone on streets…celebrating the win…unanimously…wondered these flags representing different groups of society would have felt being “left out”…but in short span they again regained their supremacy and place in our “diversified society” as we call it. I wondered…“unity in diversity or diversity in unity”

Fighting Cancer

If one gives a slight thought upon the progress in modern medical technology, then it will be realized that even a tooth cavity cant be treated… the only cure is to remove it completely… we normally not take it seriously as it doesn’t have life threatening effect…

Abstracts from Wekipedia:
“Cancer is a class of diseases in which a cell, or a group of cells display uncontrolled (division beyond the normal limits), invasion (intrusion on and destruction of adjacent tissues), and sometimes metastasis (spread to other locations in the body via lymph or blood). "

The treatment which are normally used (surgery/ chemotherapy/ radiation) are only to limit the growth of the cells but they wont reverse their growth… As per Tibetan pathy, cancer, being an abnormal growth of body cells can be reversed or cured by the human body itself. The pathy which is followed there is based on functioning of our mind… which states that if the body has undergone some changes which has resulted in development of abrupt growth of certain cells…then the same body can reverse the situation if it is asked to do so…!! Recently I read that cancer was very rarely found in Egyptians era… it has only found its foot recently with change in our lifestyle…!!

The "BLOODY" & "RED" VALENTINE DAY

My first blog… n m not at all pleased to write this … cuz the day m writing is the Valentines Day 14th 02-2010… or the Bloody Red Valentine Day … a day after the blast at Koregaon Park.- Pune..

Its impossible to imagine such an attack at a place where you've been at some point of time in your life…it feels like…being there at that very moment...and feeling the pain of those who got injured...those who lost their loved ones…!!!

Yes natural disasters do occur which claims many...but some how they are acceptable…. but what about such assaults, where some f%#&@r coward…places bomb among people…killing innocent lives...!! this is not at all acceptable…its not about fear of security or safety…but its about whats being done to avoid such disasters…

Moment after the blast every news channel was flashing LIVE feeds… now its hard to believe that it took more than 2 hrs by our smart and intelligent police to confirm that it was a bomb blast and not a gas cylinder blast…do the govt think that the people are stupid?? Come on…. how much time does it takes for a sniffer dog to confirm the smell of IED or RDX…forget abt the trained dogs .. It would not take more than a view of “sight of crime” by a professional armed force personal to distinguish between a bomb blast and an LPG cylinder blast..!!!

The night went very gloomy …. next morning I tuned to news channel where some lady govt representative was giving information to media about the number of deaths and injured… it felt very dreadful to see no feelings on her face… not a single sign of rage, anger or condolence… adding to misery … she answered to one of the questions which was asked about the leads and progress in the case.. to which she said “I will let you know as soon as we get any information about the leads” ….come again please…!!! Did she just say that the govt will share the information about the lead with media??? Now how a responsible govt authority can say something like this??
Jus then another news channel flashed footage of our Honourable Home Minister … stating “govt can’t give security to each and every citizen”... here also there was no sign of fight back or not even a sign of any rage of defeat on his face…

Pictures showing …police personals using ordinary material “similar to one which is used as shaadi’s mandap” to cover the sight of incident the “German Bakery”….. Live news showing our policemen without even “hand gloves” at the sight of attack gathering clues… News channel authorities being allowed to interview injured waiter of “German Bakery” in one of the hospitals gathering information about the blast…

These all show the lack of coordination in our own system… lack of basic facilities given to the policemen…. lack of communication… miss management…rather a complete chaos…

These are not at all good signs for our fellow citizens and for the visitors and tourists from other countries… there should be some concrete systems in place to cater emergencies like these…!! We are not paying taxes to the govt for all this… corporate companies should take a step forward to sought things out cuz its out of capacity of the common man to change the sluggish and inefficient system…!!

There should be steps taken by govt to avoid such attacks… along with plan of action to “destroy & eliminate” groups executing such attacks along with hands supporting them..!!

Do something by not only showing condolence to sufferers...!! Give information about the suspects to the police… even the culprit uses road transport.. stay in rental accommodations… use hotels to stay and eat… think about it… we have more than one billion pair of eyes to scan these predators...!!! Don’t let them just walk in our lives and do the damage…!! WAKE UP…
